HotSheet is a directory of categories including news, sports,
finance, shopping, travel, and entertainment.

AllTheWeb
Search in various languages. Restrict your search to
news, pictures, videos, MP3 files.

Ask Jeeves

Type a question, and get links to web pages that
can answer your question.

Librarians' Index to the Internet
The Librarians' Index is an annotated subject directory of
Internet resources selected and evaluated by librarians.

Debriefing - the Meta Search Engine
Searches concurrently a number of search engines and lets you
specify searching by web, news, MP3, or pictures.
