Searching
The initial screen of Horizon Information Portal gives you a choice of searching methods. By clicking the "Search" tab, you can do simpler or complex Boolean searching, too. You can sort the results of your search by publication date as well.

"My Account"
A user can see checkouts, holds, and overdues by clicking on "My Account" and entering his/her borrower's card number.
Your library card barcode number is your User ID.

"My Lists"
“My List” lists are retained for 20 days.  Once you've searched for items and clicked on the “Add to my list” buttons, click on the “My Account” tab near the top of the page. (You'll need to log in to your account if you haven't done so before you did your searching and selecting). Now, click on “My List” at the top of this page. This will open up a new page.
On the My List page, click on the “Manage Lists” button (on the top right of your list or at the bottom right of the list). This will take you to a screen where you'll see the expiration date for each list.  On the left side on this screen, you can click on “My List” (or just click the back one page) and you'll arrive back at the list of titles. At the bottom left of this page, there's a link to email this list to yourself. You should email each list as you create it. Then you won't have to worry about the list’s disappear date.

 Your PIN
For ensured privacy, a PIN number can be obtained by visiting the main library and filling our the appropriate form. You do NOT need to have a PIN to see your account online, but if you asked to have a PIN assigned, you must use it.
